Praying at Home

As we are unable to hold in-person services, we will provide an inspirational package of prayers and thoughts to make your High Holidays more meaningful. 

Whether you want a Machzor (prayer book), a prayer guide, inspirational reading material, whether you usually attend Shule once a year, or every day, we have something for you.

	NSW High Holiday Guide 2021 Available for download or collection (see link below) Produced by a team of Sydney Rabbis to assist you to navigate your High Holidays at home and to inspire and uplift you and your family. Published in 2021 by Community Connect Sydney, Rabbinical Council of NSW.
	High Holiday Companion Available for loan (see link below) |  Sample Guides you page by page through the Machzor, with directions and meaning. Includes over 50 key prayer transliterations, and many inspirational readings and stories. Published by the Jewish Learning Group.
	High Holiday Guide 2021  Available for download or collection (see link below) A guide through all the entire month of holidays, from Rosh Hashanah through to Simchat Torah. Step-by-step guide with directions and insights. Published in 2021 by JLI and Chabad North Shore.
	The Rabbi's Notes Available for download or collection (see link below) Each year, Rabbi Schapiro shares insights and inspiration into the service. You can get your own copy of the Rabbi's notes, with insights, inspiration, humour and more.
