The primary Mitzvah of Rosh Hashanah is to listen to the sounding of the Shofar. The Shofar should be sounded/heard on the first and second day of Rosh Hashanah, 6 & 7 September 2021.

The Rabbinical Council of NSW are currently in discussion with NSW Government to see if there is any way outdoor Shofar blowing will be possible. There are a number of options we have, and will communicate in due course as the information becomes available.
