Chabad North Shore in conjunction with Sinai Down Under presents a fascinating evening of Jewish Mysticism. The ancient mystical teachings of Kabbalah - once obscure and unknown - has recently become popular and even fashionable. Or has it? 

Do we really know what Kabbalah is?  What does the word even mean?  What do these teachings offer us? 

One of the greatest scholars and sought-after speakers in the Jewish world today, is Rabbi Simon Jacobson. He has lectured to diverse audiences on six continents on psycho-spiritual issues and elequently applies Jewish thought to contemporary life. 

A scholar, mystic and best-selling author, his wisdom and insights will certainly uplift and inspire. In addition, Melbourne-based abuse and family counsellor Mrs Sheiny New Dip.Couns. will conduct a live interview with Rabbi Jacobson. 

David Solomon is an internationally acclaimed, globally-roaming scholar, teacher, writer, and translator living in Melbourne. David will be sharing his insights on Kabbalah, its history and journey through the ages. 

In honour of the Yahrtzeit of Kabbalist and Mystic Rabbi Levi Yitzchak Schneersohn (1878-1944), father of the Lubavitcher Rebbe, we will be joined live by Rabbi Yossi Glick (formerly of Melbourne), now of Dnipro or Dnipropetrovsk, Ukraine.

Finally, Sinai Down Under's now signature-style includes local Rabbis and Rebbetzins for 5-minute power talks. This week we will be joined by Mrs Chana Loebenstein of Chabad Glen Eira, Melbourne; Rabbi Moshe Kahn of Chabad Youth, Melbourne; and Rabbi Nochum Schapiro of Chabad North Shore, Sydney.   

Journalist and writer Tali Shine will once again host our program, which we are certain will be inspiring, motivating and thought-provoking.
