APPLICATION TO ATTEND SERVICES AT CHABAD NORTH SHORE

We are delighted to welcome you back to Shule and we can assure you that we are taking all the necessary steps to ensure a COVID-SAFE environment.

Special thanks to Professor Les Schrieber, Senior Physician of the Virtual COVID unit at Royal North Shore Hospital and other medical professionals for their advice and assistance in setting protocols for our Shule services.

A separate application is required for each person who wishes to attend a service (click here). Once completed, minimal registration will be required for specific services (click here).

The total number of persons who may attend each service is strictly limited by NSW Health to 50 persons, however, provisions are in place to ensure all members are able to attend.

Completing and submitting an application does NOT guarantee that you will be able to attend.  You may ONLY attend the service if you receive a formal notification IN ADVANCE that your application was successful, otherwise you will unfortunately have to be turned away.

Admission to each service will be strictly monitored and controlled by security and synagogue personnel.

Please note the following key points of our COVID-SAFE protocol:

  • Services will be limited to 50 persons, plus essential clergy.
  • Services will not last more than 2 hours.
  • Registration must be completed for each attendee.
  • Anyone who is feeling unwell in anyway, may not attend.
  • Attendees must be aged 12-69 years. Persons aged 70 years and above must sumbit a Doctors note.
  • All attendees must arrive on time, and remain for duration of the service.
  • Temperature must be taken upon arrival (on weekdays).
  • Hand Sanitiser must be applied upon entry.
  • Face masks are preferable, however not essential.
  • Social distancing must be maintained at all times.
  • Men must bring their own Kippah and Tallit.

We look forward to welcome you back to Shule.
