This Monday night, 1 October is Simchat Torah.
Jewish holidays are a marvellous time to create special memories.
Simchat Torah is uniquely special, when we can dance with a Torah, creating an indelible beautiful Jewish memory which will fill you with warmth, love, joy and happiness that lasts a lifetime.
I am delighted to give you the honour of carrying a Torah during one of the special themed Hakafot.
The program will commence with Maariv at 6:15 pm sharp.
Our children's program will commence at 6:00 pm. Hot Dog and snacks will be given to the children.
1. 6:40 pm – Preschoolers’ Hakafah.
2. 6:50 pm – Younger Primary School Children’s Hakafah - dance with your son and/or daughter.
3. 7:00 pm – Older Primary School Children’s Hakafah - dance with your son and/or daughter.
4. 7:10 pm – Grandparents’ Hakafah - dance with your grandchild/ren.
5. 7:20 pm – Israelis’ Hakafah. Dedicated to our beloved soldiers in the IDF and to the safety of our brethren in Israel.
6. 7:30 pm – Teens’ Hakafah.
7. 7:40 pm – Final Hakafah
Everyone is invited to join us for a full sit-down dinner at 8:15 pm catered by Jing and Rinah and their team of helpers.
Reminder: Yizkor Memorial Service will take place on Shemini Atzeret, Monday, 1 October at approximately 11:00 am.
