CHABAD TO CONSOLIDATE PROPERTIES IN ST IVES

We are pleased to announce that Chabad North Shore has entered a ‘put and call option’ with a developer to sell its Killeaton Street property to developers. The sale will not complete until the end of 2018.  The sale will enable us to clear our debt on the College Crescent property thereby securing a strong future, and enabling us to enhance our programs and services for the community.

The North Shore Mikvah will remain fully operational until a brand-new state-of-the-art facility is built at the College Crescent Campus. Rabbi Gershon Grossbaum, the internationally renowned Mikvah expert has recently visited our site and the process is underway.

In June this year we submitted a DA to Ku-ring-gai Council for the development of a new purpose-built childcare centre at College Crescent to replace the current childcare at Killeaton St. We are working with our architect Ray Fitzgibbon & Associates to progress our DA through council expecting to facilitate a smooth transition for families and staff.

We are committed to keeping the Chabad community up to date with the project as it progresses. If you have any questions or concerns, please contact Rabbi Schapiro, 9488 9548 or [email protected].
