Our Chesed Committee is a group of dedicated community members doing their utmost to help people in times of need. This does not necessarily mean crisis. Even happy occasions such as the birth of a child etc. our committee is there to assist.
Why be alone in the most needy of times? Our dedicated team of Rabbis and volunteers are always on-call to visit the sick, the elderly, the homebound and the hospitalised.
In most major Jewish communities, there are many such interest-free loan funds, and our community is no different. A loan from the Gemach can be accessed with just a guarantor, and payment plans are developed to fit the borrower's fiscal ability.
Our dedicated Rabbis and Rebbetzins offer counselling in times of crisis, personal issues, relationships, religious issues etc.
Keep Calm and Chag Sameach! We provide financial assistance, food packages and vouchers before all major Jewish festivals.
Our staff and volunteers are on-call to assist any members of our community with the necessary emergency relief in times of crisis.
