Help a Family - Maot Chittim

One of the biggest Mitzvot before Pesach is an age-old custom called 'Ma'ot Chittim' - literally 'Money for Wheat (Matzah)' - helping our fellow Jews with necessities for Pesach. Read more about this important Mitzvah.

Dear Friend,

As Pesach approaches, many families in our community are quietly worrying about how they will manage the additional costs of Yom Tov.

Each year our community comes together to fulfil the special mitzvah of Maot Chittim (lit. Money for wheat i.e. Matzah) - helping ensure that every Jewish family can celebrate Pesach with dignity and joy.

Through this fund we provide discreet assistance to individuals and families who are struggling, helping with Pesach groceries, prepared food, and financial support for essential Yom Tov needs. All assistance is distributed with the utmost confidentiality and sensitivity.

We invite you to take part in this meaningful mitzvah. Every contribution - large or small - makes a real difference, allowing families to prepare for Pesach without added stress or hardship.

If you are able to help, we kindly ask that donations be made as soon as possible so that we can purchase and distribute Pesach supplies in time for Yom Tov.
