A new concept for Anash in the Sydney community
With Yud Tes Kislev, the Rosh Hashanah for Chasidus, just over a month away, Chabad North Shore has created a truly inspiring shabbos for the occasion. Yud Tes and Chof Kislev are on Thursday and Friday this year, and the perfect way to start the Chasidishe year is with a derhoibener shabbos of Chasidus and farbrengens, for all Anash from the many communities in the greater Sydney area.
Due to much expressed interest, the Yud Tes Kislev shabbaton created by Chabad North Shore is now for BOTH MEN AND WOMEN and families.
The shabbos will include a guest speaker, Rabbi Yanky Winner from Melbourne, who will farbreng for the entire shabbos – it will be a shabbos, “Shekulo Farbrengen.” Rebbetzin Winner will be speaking for the ladies. Childrens services and activities will also be available, making the shabbos an event for the whole family.
Chabad North Shore has extensive experience in hosting shabbatons at their new premises. Delicious shabbos meals will be served as well as breakfast before davening on shabbos morning. There is a mikvah round the corner from the building that will be open on erev shabbos and shabbos morning.
The cost of the shabbaton is as follows:
Couples: $270
Children (under Bar/Bat Mitzvah): $200 for two children in a room.
To have your own room: $175
To share with another member of Anash: $135 each
Costs include accommodation, meals and all of the activities that will occur over the course of the shabbos.
