Rebbetzin Fruma Schapiro is a respected educator, spiritual guide, and community leader who has been inspiring generations of women, families, and youth for over three decades. Together with her husband, she co-founded Chabad North Shore in 1989, following the directive of the Lubavitcher Rebbe, and has since played a central role in shaping the growth and warmth of the North Shore Jewish community.
A qualified teacher, life coach, spiritual guide and sought-after mentor, Fruma has served in various leadership roles, including as past Director and current management member of Ganeinu Long Day Care and Preschool, and as Director of the Women’s Division and Social Services at Chabad North Shore. She oversees the Helping Hands program, offering critical support to individuals and families in need with sensitivity and care.
Known for her wisdom and compassion, Fruma offers guidance that is both deeply grounded and profoundly personal.
Fruma is a certified JLI facilitator who delivers engaging and inspiring courses. In addition, her highly popular Torah & Tea sessions have become a cherished highlight of Jewish women’s learning on the North Shore, drawing hundreds of participants.
Her Bat Mitzvah programs are beloved by girls seeking to celebrate this milestone in a fun, meaningful, and engaging social setting.
