Jewish Club at Killara - SQUARE.pngMay 2018

Dear Parents,

Killara High School have kindly allowed a Jewish Club to operate weekly for the last 15 years. We are delighted to be able to continue the club this term. In order to do so the school requires all parents to formally authorise their children to attend.

The Jewish Club runs weekly each Friday during lunch in Room D20 from 1.15 to 1.45 pm. It is open to all students from Years 7-12 (although at times numbers may have to be limited due to health and safety requirements). Food and drinks will be served.

The club will start this term on Friday, 18 May 2018 and will run right through until the end of term. We hope to continue this until the end of the year. The Jewish Club is organised by Rabbi Shlomo Wolvovsky of Chabad North Shore, and a team of Bochurim/Youth Leaders. As required, all staff have received a WWCC (Working With Children Check), and we have staff trained in First Aid.

The purpose of the Jewish Club is to connect Jewish students with each other; provide a forum for meaningful discussions on Jewish ethics, morals and values; and an opportunity to relax while enjoying some refreshments.

We would love to see your child/ren regularly and get to know them. There is no obligation on their part to come every week.

If you would like to discuss this further please call Rabbi Shlomo on 0426 061 763 or the Chabad office 9488 9548. If you would like to come along to the club, or volunteer on the day, you would be very welcome, so please let us know.

If you would like your child/ren to participate please complete and return the form (link below) to the school office as soon as possible.

Many Thanks

Chabad North Shore
