Our Program

Our Bat Mitzvah program is a tried, tested and highly successful program, uniquely designed and developed by Rebbetzin fruma Schapiro.

Over the years, hundreds of girls from many backgrounds have benefitted from this incredible program and have been given a solid foundation for life as a growing Jewish woman.

Our program is designed to prepare the girls for a meaningful Bat Mitzvah presentation, and more importantly for life as a growing Jewish woman, through an extensive learning curriculum.

Our Curriculum

The curriculum includes interactive learning sessions, experiential workshops, extracurricular activities, shabbatons and programs designed to build social skills and awareness.  Weaved into the program are opportunities for group chessed activities and community outreach to the elderly or less fortunate.

The course content is designed to provide the girls with a strong sense of Jewish identity, together with a positive feeling for and about themselves, Jewish values and an awareness of community.

In addition, it is our aim that the girls should be able to demonstrate a basic intellectual and emotional understanding of fundamental Jewish philosophical and spiritual concepts included within the 13 Principles of Jewish faith.

Our Staff

Rebbetzin Fruma not only provides an opportunity for enriched learning, she is  also an experienced mentor and educator with many years of experience mentoring teenage and adolescent girls, helping them deal with issues that growing teenagers are confronted with.

She provides a safe space for the girls to ask any questions they may have and a forum where they can confidently express their views and opinions, knowing they will be valued.  Parent input is encouraged and she works together with the parents to cater for the individual requirements and interests of her students.
